Sarie Eldin & Partners Legal Advisors is proud to give the opportunity for law students from all Egyptian universities to be exposed globally and locally and exchange knowledge with their counterparts and academics , the firm recently sponsored 8 students from Cairo University – French section in Vis East Moot Competition that was held in Hong Kong in March 2018. Sarie Eldin & Partners also sponsored the largest legal gathering among law students of Cairo University- English section, to conduct simulation of Moot Court Model, which brings together students and lawyers.

Under the auspices of Sarie Eldin & Partners, students in faculty of law - Cairo university French section are participating in Willem C. Viz Competition for International Commercial Arbitration Moot (East) which will be held in Hong Kong from the 11th of March for a week to compete with other students from more than 35 country over the world.

Sarie Eldin & Partners are sponsoring 8 students of the graduation year to travel and participate in this international competition in addition to providing the necessary technical training for them before their travel for the competition and providing them with the necessary references to support their competition with the teams participating in the competition.

Over the past three years, Egypt has participated in this competition organized by the Association of Organizing and promoting the in Willem C. Viz Competition for International Commercial Arbitration. The Egyptian students were ranked among the top 50 universities participating in the competition in 2015.

Dr Hani Sarie Eldin stated in his meetig with the students “Our firm is keen to sponsor the outstanding students as they are the future of this country. we are proud that the Egyptian students compete in these difficult international competitions, as this competition is basically focused on one of the difficult branches of science that is the simulation in the application of the international trade law and arbitraton according to the UN convention and the UNCITRAL rules of arbitration”.

From their side, the students (Nour El Ghadban – Clara kolta – Ahmed Gharabawy – Natalie Sharobem – Tarek Mostafa – Particica Khouri – Youssef El Hadidi – Youssef Abou Shoeir) have expressed their enthusiasm and their readiness to compete their pairs from the international universities from 35 different countries around the world and also their gratitude for Sarie Eldin & Partners support and encourangement in passing this international competition.

Sarie-Eldin & Partners Legal Advisors represents DP World and Suez Canal Economic Zone Authority In Development of Integrated Industrial and Residential Zone in Egypt spanning 30 square kilometers

Sarie - Eldin & Partners is pleased to announce that a Framework Agreement to implement the first phase of development of an integrated industrial and residential zone in Sokhna, Egypt has been signed in Dubai between global trade enabler DP World, and the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone).

The framework agreement, which establishes a clear timetable of actions required to execute the first phase of the project spanning 30 square kilometers.

This follows the signing of a partnership agreement at a ceremony in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt on the sidelines of the World Youth Forum in November last year. The joint venture between SCZone (51%) and DP World (49%) with DP World managing the zone, will result in the development a comprehensive industrial zone in Sokhna spanning 96square kilometers, as well as increasing the capacity of Sokhna port and linking it to the industrial zone to fuel foreign investment and trade growth.

Sarie Eldin and Partners Legal Advisor in a seminar at the American Chamber of Commerce about the Legal Responsibilities of the Managers and the proposed Insurance Solutions: The Insurance of the Banking and Real Estate sector should be suitable covered.

Dr. Hani Sarie Eldin, the Founder and the Managing Partner of Sarie Eldin and Partners Legal Advisor talked about the importance of guaranteeing Insurance solutions with similar provisions protect the decision makers from the managers and board members in different organizations against any legal issue.

Dr. Sarie Eldin considered that the Public Liability Insurance for the board members and the executive and non-executive board members is one of the most important practices around the world, which guarantee the protection of the organizations, shareholders and stakeholders who are dealing with those organizations.

Dr. Sarie Eldin confirmed on that the protection and the insurance does not include any action falls in the area of the Criminal Liability.

Dr. Sarie Eldin also confirmed on the solidarity responsibility of the board members for the decisions taken by them and the ratification by General Assembly of these decisions does not exempt the board members from the responsibility.

Dr. Sarie Eldin talked in the seminar that was organized by the Legal Affairs Committee and the Insurance Committee in the American Chamber of Commerce- about the legal responsibility for the managers and the responsible people for the organizations and the way of their insurance coverage. In addition to, the importance of raising, the awareness towards the obstacles that these companies may face according to increase the need of the Legal Insurance Responsibilities for the managers and executives in the Company.

He added that “the managers in the banking, non-banking and real estate sectors should have an excellent insurance coverage due to the importance of decision making in this strategic sectors”.

The Seminar gives the opportunity for the companies’ representatives from AIG Insurance, the banking sectors, financial sectors and number of lawyers to review the Law and the new regulations that affect the decision makers in the different organizations with different capacities.

Sarie-Eldin & Partners represents Arab African International Bank in a Structured Long Term Facility of up to EGP 1 Billion granted to ARCO

Sarie -Eldin & Partners is pleased to announce that Al Arabia for Real Estate Development S.A.E, one of the leading real estate developers in Egypt, has obtained a Structured Long Term Facility of up to EGP 1 Billion from Arab African International Bank, to finance ARCO’s new development projects.

In just five years, ARCO has expanded its total investment in Egypt to EGP 32 billion , while maintaining an impressive project schedule of five launched projects and six currently under construction.
